Parking
- Parking at your own risk: If you choose to park on site, you do so at your own risk. Romiley Secure Dog Field accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage.
Where we use the term ‘your dog(s)’, this refers to every dog attending your booking, whether or not you are the owner.
Entrance and exit procedure
- Please do not arrive more than five minutes before your booking, as the sight or sound of arriving vehicles may distress nervous or reactive dogs.
- When you arrive, you and your dog(s) must remain inside your vehicle until the previous customer and their vehicle have completely left the secure car park.
- Once the previous customer has left, drive into the designated parking area and close the entrance gate securely behind you before allowing your dog(s) out of the vehicle.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead whenever they are outside the secure exercise area. This includes the secure car park, where applicable.
- It is the responsibility of those using the field to allow enough time at the end of your session to return your dog(s) to your vehicle and leave the premises before your booking ends. This ensures the next customer can enter on time.
- If the previous customer is late leaving, please remain in your vehicle and do not approach them. Call us on [telephone number to be confirmed] for assistance. Do not extend your own session to make up for lost time, as this will delay bookings for the rest of the day.
- If someone is using the secure area when you arrive and believes they also have a booking, check the date and time shown in your booking confirmation email or text message. Please then contact us on [telephone number to be confirmed].
- If you experience any other problems accessing the secure dog exercise area, please call us on [telephone number to be confirmed].
During your visit
- You are responsible for the supervision, safety and behaviour of your dog(s), and any other dogs you bring with you, throughout your visit. Romiley Secure Dog Field cannot accept responsibility for illness or injury occurring during your visit, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- During extreme weather conditions, including heavy rain, heatwaves, ice or snow, you must carefully consider whether it is safe and suitable for your dog(s) to visit the field.
- Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.
- Please be considerate of our neighbours. Do not shout or allow your dog(s) to bark excessively.
- Do not allow your dog(s) to dig holes or damage the fencing, facilities or equipment. Holes can create a serious trip hazard for dogs and visitors.
- If you notice or cause any damage, please email the details to info@romileysecuredogfield.co.uk as soon as possible so that our maintenance team can attend to it.
- Please supervise your dog(s) closely and clean up after them. Free waste bags are available on the perimeter fencing and must be placed in the designated dog-waste bin.
- Do not climb on, tamper with or otherwise interfere with the perimeter fencing.
- Please treat the field, its facilities and the surrounding area with care and respect.
- Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn. Please take additional care during wet or cold weather, when the ground may be muddy, slippery or icy.
- Dog food and treats: Dog food must not be brought into the field, with the exception of small treats used for training. Treats must be kept with you and must not be left anywhere in the field, as other dogs may have allergies or dietary conditions.
- Food brought in by visitors: You may bring food for your own consumption, but you are responsible for its ingredients, suitability, storage and safe consumption, including any allergy or dietary considerations. Romiley Secure Dog Field does not prepare, store or supply food brought onto the premises by visitors and cannot accept responsibility for any illness or allergic reaction arising from its consumption, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. All food, leftovers, packaging and waste must be disposed of in the appropriate bin or taken away with you.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the field.
- Do not leave any litter or waste behind. This includes broken toys, dog fur, dog or human food, treats and food packaging.
- Please leave the field clean, tidy and in the condition you would expect to find it. If you find the site in an unsatisfactory condition when you arrive, please contact us on [telephone number to be confirmed] or email info@romileysecuredogfield.co.uk.
